This political cartoon represents all the struggles of the Iraqi war. The first soldier asks the others what you give someone on their fifth anniversary, symbolizing the fifth year of the Iraqi war. One of the other soldiers response was "wood" which is very appropriate for the war situation. All of the coffins lined up against the building are made of wood and signifies the large number of soldier deaths from the war.
