Observation 1

Rebecca and I watched a commercial from http://www.macboy.com/cartoons/switch/dude/ where Apple uses a cartoon version of "Steve", the once spokesperson for Dell to tell PC users why they should use a Mac over a Dell. We found the commercial to be kind of humorous because they gave Steve like a "totally dude" type accent and even used his reasons for switching from a Dell to a Mac really simple things such as it rhymed with "schmell". Macboy, who is an animation creator for Apple, we think used this to appeal to a crowd that's younger maybe even college students that are looking for a laptop to purchase and he may have felt that this comical commercial will have appealed to us more. The overall message we concluded with was that Apple thinks the Mac computer is better than a Dell. He made a Mac seem that it is so much better than a Dell that even the once spokesperson for Dell switched from using a Dell to a Mac
