In this cartoon the author is voicing his opinion on the transition of power for the president elect. The cartoon shows the mess that President Bush will be handing of to the president elect, Obama. The fact that Bush says "I" is stressing that the blame for the recession is put completely on him. The size of the characters also stresses on how a single person can create such a huge problem. Also the use of the word "parked" makes the event not seem like an accident.
