Observation 1

We used a commercial for got milk featuring White Gold. First, they're using the media by having a rock idol in order to let the audience know that milk is not only drank by ordinary consumers but also by the famous ones. Also they are using narration by illustrating a story about White Gold before and after his experience with milk. His frail and weak appearance before he drank milk compared with his current strong and energized appearance after consuming milk portrays important benefits that milk can give. This cause and effect strategy of argumentation signifies the importance of milk, which is what the commercial is trying to convey. There are also other little strategies that helps convey that milk is important for all consumers. For instance, the background color before he drank milk was gray signifies a depressing atmosphere while the white and gold color after drinking milk conveys a more pleasant and jubilant life.
