1. I watched an infomercial advertising a new product called the snuggie. A snuggie basically a blanket that has sleeves to put your arms through. These sleeves allow people to stay warm and use their arms at the same time. A normal blanket is not capable of this because you would have to remove your arms from the comfort of the warm blanket to use them. The blanket appeals to every member of the family and examples of different age groups are utilized in the commercial.
2. The main argument of the snuggie infomercial is convenience.
3. What is convenient about the blanket? How is this argument shown in the add?
4. The snuggie is proven in the infomercial to be convenient for people of all age groups, and while performing mobile tasks.
5. How does this make the snuggie more appealing to people than a blanket?
6. This infomercial demonstrates the snuggie as a product that can be worn anywhere, while performing any task, and by people of every age group.

  1. This thesis statement describes the significance of the subject very well. I think it could be a little bit sharper in describing how the commercial shows that the snuggie is so diverse. I think the thesis will be more open to a contrasting opinion once it is sharpened. However, as is, it could use strengthening. It is more of a statement. Using evidence from the commercial will help to strengthen the argument. I think overall it is a very good starting point. Now, it just needs to be defined more.
