My research topic is exploring how President Obama appeals to audiences rhetorically. In this I will try to find adults who actually watched the speeches and formed opinions from them. From asking these questions I will be able to better understand how Obama appeals to different audiences since I'm sure their opinions will differ from different speeches. Even if their opinions had remained the same throughout the speeches I'll try to explore how he kept this image of himself constant in their minds.
Is there a point and time when your opinion changed of the now president after one of his speeches?
Do you think his visual rhetoric or oral rhetoric had more effect?
Which parts of his speech stand out to you if any?
Why do you think Obama is able to inspire and win over the country? Did he win you over? Why and Why not?
