Observation 5- Bethani

At this point in my rhetoric research paper, I haven't done as much research as I should have. Though, I know the things I want to do with this paper and the particular parts of my topic that I want to explore. Today in class, with the help from the teacher, she helped me get the idea to focus on how the media has portrayed the homeless over the past 25-50 years. I know I need to make sure this is a rhetoric assignment and not just a research assignment. I want to show examples through parts of movies, news channels, newspapers, magazines, etc. I want to make sure that I cover all aspects of this issue, especially the specific topic of veterans that are homeless. The viual mapping concept is really helping me organize my thoughts and where I want to go with project. I need to put more time into this project, but I know I will get it done with time.
